Play for Purpose, Sport Australia and the Sports Foundation have teamed up to give grassroot Aussie Clubs a simple way to raise much needed funds towards their charitable sporting initiatives – through raffle tickets! Sports Foundation members sign up with Play for Purpose, receive their own website and can start selling raffle tickets to their community with 50% of the ticket price going back in to the club fundraising program. Anyone who buys tickets goes in the draw to win prizes worth up to $250,000. Funds raised through Play For Purpose must be used for a charitable sporting projects which you can learn more about here.

The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) leads and enables a united and collaborative high performance sport system that supports Australian athletes to achieve international podium success. In collaboration with National Sporting Organisations (NSOs), the National Institute Network and partners, the AIS strives to identify and solve strategic problems on the frontiers of ethical sporting performance. Originally built around a centralised Canberra campus in 1981, the AIS is evolving and expanding its reach. The modern AIS is mobile and agile, helping athletes and sports to get the right services, support and expertise. The AIS campus in Canberra will continue to hold its place as a driver of national pride and inspiration through an ongoing commitment to deliver on sport priorities.
The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) is the Australian Government agency responsible for supporting and investing in sport and physical activity at all levels. The ASC was established in 1985 and operates under the Australian Sports Commission Act 1989 and is governed by a Board of Commissioners appointed by the Minister for Sport. The Board determines the ASC’s overall direction, decides on allocation of resources and policy for delegated decisions, and is accountable to the Minister of Sport. The ASC unites two entities: Sport Australia — responsible for driving the broader sport sector including participation, physical activity and industry growth and the Australian Institute of Sport — leading our high performance sport system.
Mark Williams is an AFL legend with an impressive resume - 200 AFL game player, Captain of Collingwood, All-Australian AFL Player & Coach, Premiership Coach with Port Adelaide, AFL Life Member, inventor of the Sherrin Precision Ball and mentor to countless athletes. Most recently he has mentored arguably the AFL’s best player Richmond’s Dustin Martin as well as ex-Australian Diamonds netballer Sharni Layton with her kicking skills assisting her to become an AFLW All-Australian in 2020. As a qualified teacher Mark has the ability to engage a wide audience from various backgrounds and skill levels.
